Red clover is a short lived perennial of the pea (Leguminosae) family, preferring a sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil. Often grown to fix nitrogen into the soil. Also used topically for wounds and skin problems, such as psoriasis. Herbal tea made from flowers usually taken 3 times per day as required.
